A product is showing as 'None available from UK stock'. What does this mean?
We do our best to hold as much inventory here in the UK as possible. But of course, sometimes products go out of stock.
Or in the case of certain specialist parts or our wheel range, where there are multiple sizes, colours and configurations may often be manufactured to order.
So, orders that show as 'None available from UK stock' will be sourced or built to order. You may go ahead and place your order and we will get it made and update you with expected delivery date.
Although you may prefer to Contact Us first, and we can give a best estimate on likely delivery time.
How long will it take to get my orders?
It depends on where you are. Orders for the UK will be processed immediately and typically take 5-7 business days to arrive.
Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
However, if a product shows as being unavailable from UK stock, we will need to source your part. In this case we will let you know the expected delivery times as soon as possible.
Of course, if you'd like to Contact Us first, we can always confirm timing estimates before you place your order.
How can I find Fitting Instructions?
We have fitting guides for many of our most popular products.

PWRD Warranty FAQs
More information about our warranty coverage, and the implications to your Manufacturer's Warranty.
What does the PWRD product warranty cover?
All PWRD parts come with a 2-year / 24,000-mile warranty (whichever comes first) from the date of installation. This covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
Covered items include lowering springs, coilovers, big brake kits, brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, dampers, and similar components. If a covered part fails prematurely or shows a manufacturing defect, we’ll repair or replace it at no cost – provided it was installed by us or by an authorised partner.
The warranty doesn’t cover consumables like brake pads or discs, nor damage caused by misuse, accidents, off-road driving, unapproved modifications, or incorrect installation.
While warranty claims are rare, we always aim to handle them quickly and fairly. Just contact our service team and we’ll walk you through the process, including inspection and, if needed, shipping arrangements.
Will fitting aftermarket parts void my vehicle manufacturer warranty?
We’re EV owners and enthusiasts – not lawyers – but here’s what’s generally true:
fitting aftermarket parts does not automatically cancel your manufacturer warranty. However, if a fault can be directly linked to the aftermarket part, the manufacturer may refuse to cover the repair costs for that specific issue.
For example, if you change your suspension and a related component fails, the manufacturer could argue that the modification caused the problem. That said, unrelated areas of the vehicle should remain covered.
It’s always worth reading both your vehicle’s warranty terms and relevant consumer rights legislation for your region to understand your position.
Will the vehicle manufacturer warranty PWRD parts?
No – vehicle manufacturers only warranty the parts they produce. They won’t cover, supply, or repair aftermarket products like ours under their warranty.
That’s why PWRD provides its own 24-month / 24,000-mile warranty for peace of mind. We stand behind the quality of our parts, and any warranty issues are handled directly by us.
Can I install PWRD parts myself? Will it affect my warranty?
Yes – you can absolutely fit PWRD parts yourself if you have the right tools, experience, and confidence, or you can have them installed by an independent garage. We do, however, recommend professional installation. This ensures the parts perform as designed and helps protect your warranty.
Our warranty still applies if you install the parts yourself, but it only covers faults in materials or manufacturing. Problems caused by incorrect installation – such as wrong torque settings, poor alignment, or accidental damage during fitting – aren’t covered.
Certain components, like suspension parts, big brake kits, or coilovers, require specialist tools, alignment, or recalibration after fitting. If you’re taking the DIY route, make sure you follow the instructions carefully, and feel free to contact our technical team for guidance. In the event of a warranty claim, we may ask for proof of proper installation.

PWRD Suspension FAQs
We get lots of questions about suspension upgrades. Here are some helpful common questions and answers.
Are PWRD Lowering Springs linear or progressive?
All PWRD Lowering Springs are progressive (dual-rate) springs. This means they feel similar to the factory setup during everyday driving, but become stiffer towards the end of their travel – such as when braking hard, cornering quickly, or hitting larger bumps.
This design lets us improve handling without sacrificing ride comfort. It’s also fully compatible with vehicles that have switchable or active dampers.
For best results after fitting lowering springs, we recommend having a full wheel alignment carried out.
What is an alignment and why does it matter?
Wheel alignment is the precise way your wheels are set relative to your car’s body and to each other. When carried out properly, angles will be measured to fractions of a degree.
It affects how the car drives, how the tyres wear, and even your efficiency.
There are three main alignment settings:
- Toe – whether the wheels point slightly inwards or outwards.
- Camber – the inward or outward tilt of the wheels.
- Caster – the forward or rearward angle of the steering axis.
Your ideal alignment depends on your priorities – for example, maximum range and tyre life, sharper handling, or even hunting the best lap times on track.
What happens to alignment when a car is lowered?
Changing ride height always changes suspension geometry. Lowering a car – whether by springs, coilovers, or air suspension – often increases negative camber (where the tops of the wheels tilt inwards).
In simple terms, every suspension and steering arm underneath your car swings up and down on an arc throughout its travel. Therefore, when you change the car’s resting ride height (by lowering or even raising it), each arm is now in a different part of the arc of its travel.
It’s now imperative to reset all of the alignment settings by adjusting each suspension arm until it comes into the perfect alignment.
A little negative camber can improve cornering grip, but too much can cause the inner edges of tyres to wear faster. This is why many air suspension owners notice extra tyre wear when driving in their lowest settings.
Having the car re-aligned after lowering allows you to choose your own balance – more aggressive settings for handling, or more conservative settings for even tyre wear and efficiency. Keep in mind that factory suspension arms (especially on Teslas) have limited -or even zero - adjustment range. For more flexibility, PWRD offers adjustable arms and camber kits.
Can I use the factory alignment settings with PWRD suspension components?
Yes – but with some limitations. Lowering your car changes its geometry, and sometimes the factory adjustment range can’t fully correct it. This is more common with significant drops in ride height, where even the “factory spec” alignment may still lead to increased inner tyre wear.
For most cars, and especially Teslas, adjustable suspension arms allow you to fine-tune the setup to your exact needs – whether that’s maximum performance, aesthetics, or extended tyre life. Whatever your goal, a proper alignment after any suspension change is essential.
Will lowering my car reduce ground clearance?
Yes, naturally. Your ground clearance under the car will reduce by roughly the same amount as the drop provided by your lowering springs, or settings on your coilovers.
Any car, even at standard height, can scrape on speed bumps or steep driveways. Lowering increases that risk, so it’s worth being mindful of your routes and driving style.
If you’re new to low cars, it’s a good idea to consider this before making the change.
Will lowering my car shorten the life of my dampers?
In extreme cases – where a car is lowered well beyond the safe operating range – dampers can indeed wear out faster. This is because they’re constantly working outside their intended travel, which can cause a bouncy ride and reduced control.
However ,PWRD Lowering Springs are very carefully and specifically engineered to avoid this problem. Our spring rates and ride height changes stay within the damper’s safe range, meaning you can enjoy the benefits of a lower, sharper-handling car without undue stress on your suspension.
