PWRD Lowering Links

Lower, leaner, and more purposeful - without compromising what makes the Taycan so special.

PWRD Lowering Links are precision-engineered for Taycan models equipped with Adaptive Air Suspension, subtly reducing ride height to your taste from -10mm to -50mm across every factory setting.

The result? Sharper handling, improved aero efficiency, and a stance that's exactly how Stuttgart's designers probably wanted it to look…

Why fit?

The Taycan’s Adaptive Air Suspension is an impressive piece of engineering - but from the factory, it’s tuned to satisfy global ride-height regulations rather than us driving enthusiasts. PWRD Lowering Links recalibrate that baseline.

By mechanically adjusting the suspension height sensors, our links lower the vehicle evenly across all drive modes to a drop of your choosing between -10mm and -50mm. You still retain full use of your chassis level control - Low, Lowered, Medium and even Lift settings - each one simply sits lower than stock by the amount you choose. No warning lights, no coding, no compromises.

Lowering the centre of gravity delivers tangible handling benefits, with reduced body movement and a more planted feel through fast corners. At motorway speeds, the reduced ride height can also improve aerodynamic efficiency, helping the Taycan slip more cleanly through the air - which may even have a positive effect on range at higher speeds.

And, of course, there’s the visual upgrade: a cleaner wheel-to-arch relationship that transforms the car’s presence without shouting about it.

As with all PWRD components, these links are developed with a precision-first mindset. They’re not about extremes - they’re about getting the balance right.

PWRD : engineered

Built different.

PWRD PrecisionFit Lowering Links are UK-engineered for long lasting perfection.

PWRD Lowering Links installed Taycan & E-tron GT

Simple installation.

Installation is a straightforward mechanical process with no software coding or electronic calibration required.

The original links are removed and replaced with the PWRD items, subtly adjusting the reference position of the suspension height sensors.

Once installed, the air suspension continues to operate exactly as Porsche intended - simply at a lower baseline across all ride-height settings.

Fitting should be carried out by a competent technician or specialist workshop. Installation time is typically short, making this a straightforward upgrade during routine workshop visits.

After installation, we strongly recommend a full four-wheel alignment. As with any change to ride height, correct geometry ensures optimal handling, tyre wear, and overall vehicle stability.

THOROUGH ENGINEERING.

The links are engineered in the UK with the same precision-led approach that defines every component we produce. Each link is CNC-machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminium - a material chosen for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and long-term durability.

The links are heat-treated for superior structural integrity, then finished with a high-quality black anodised coating to provide lasting resistance to corrosion and environmental wear.

Unlike many alternatives on the market - which rely on softer, lower-grade 6000-series aluminium or even plastic components - PWRD Lowering Links are designed as a permanent, safety-focused solution. Strong, stable, and dimensionally precise, they’re built to perform reliably for the lifetime of the vehicle.

Because when suspension components are concerned, cutting corners isn’t an option.

Our engineers say:

"Lowering the Porsche Taycan with these Lowering Links gives a number of worthwhile benefits. Not only does a reduction in ride-height ensure a more aggressive stance, the lower centre of gravity also delivers sharper dynamic responses.

The beauty of these Lowering Links is that they retain all factory drive modes; raise or lower your car exactly as you did before.

To be worthy of our 'PrecisionFit' assurance, we've done a huge amount of trial fitting and circuit punishment to be sure you'll be getting perfect stance & sharper handling, backed up by the peace of mind of our UK-engineered products.

PWRD: serious development.

Tested. to the extreme.

The PWRD Lowering Links, along with every PWRD product, have been developed and (very) thoroughly tested to the extremes on-track - including the varying challenges of the Nurburgring and Silverstone.

We do this sort of radical testing so that you don't have to. But isn't it good to know that you could?
