Audi e-tron GT
Lower, leaner, and more purposeful - without compromising what makes the Audi e-tron GT so special.
PWRD Progressive-Rate Lowering Springs are precision-engineered for e-tron GT quattro models equipped with factory steel-spring suspension, subtly reducing ride height for a sharper stance, improved body control and a more connected driving feel.
The result is exactly what the steel-sprung e-tron GT always deserved: cleaner proportions, sharper response and that perfectly judged OEM+ presence.

PWRD : engineered
Built different.
PWRD PrecisionFit Lowering Links are UK-engineered for long lasting perfection.
The GT's centre of gravity is lowered, reducing body roll for better dynamic stability and a more enjoyable drive.
All our Sport Springs are high quality, European-made springs, from the same factory that produces many of the OEM springs.
Fitting ensures that the car's appearance is transformed. By getting rid of those nasty wheelarch gaps, it'll look like it always should have come from the factory!
Lowering a car increases its efficiency at speed: less air travelling under the car will increase range a little on the motorway.
Covered by our 24-month PWRD warranty for complete reassurance.
They've got rid of my GT Quattro's arch gaps now. Looks good, and handling feels more precise than ever.

FAQ
Got questions? Maybe these answers can help:
Why choose PWRD Lowering Springs?
At PWRD, EV performance is our sole focus.
Rather than adapting traditional combustion-engine tuning approaches, every PWRD suspension product is engineered around the unique demands of modern electric vehicle platforms - including battery weight, torque delivery, suspension geometry, weight distribution and real-world usability.
PWRD Progressive-Rate Lowering Springs are developed with a clear OEM+ philosophy. The result is a suspension upgrade that feels balanced, refined and properly integrated with the character of the e-tron GT itself.
Will these Lowering Springs fit my Audi e-tron GT?
You'll need to check!
These springs are designed for all Audi e-tron GT quattro models equipped with factory steel spring suspension only.
They are not suitable for cars equipped with Audi Adaptive Air Suspension or Audi Active Suspension. If your e-tron GT has air suspension, you will need PWRD Lowering Links instead.
Please check your vehicle build specification before ordering, or drop us a line if you're not sure.
How much lower will my e-tron GT sit?
PWRD Lowering Springs lower the vehicle by approximately:
- Front: 25mm
- Rear: 20mm
This delivers a noticeably more purposeful stance while preserving everyday usability, suspension travel and overall chassis balance.
Are these compatible with factory adaptive dampers?
Yes, where fitted with factory steel spring suspension and electronic damper control, PWRD Lowering Springs are designed to work with the original damper and mounting system.
The springs are developed as a direct replacement for the factory springs, retaining the vehicle’s original suspension architecture.
Will these fit e-tron GT models with Adaptive Air Suspension?
No.
These springs are for steel-spring e-tron GT models only. e-tron GT models equipped with Adaptive Air Suspension use a different suspension system and require PWRD Lowering Links instead
Will these fit the Audi RS e-tron GT?
No.
The RS e-tron GT is equipped with Adaptive Air Suspension, so these springs are not suitable. For RS e-tron GT models, choose PWRD Lowering Links instead.
Will lowering springs affect my warranty?
As with any aftermarket modification, warranty implications can vary depending on manufacturer or dealer interpretation.
However, professionally engineered suspension upgrades fitted correctly are generally regarded as a sensible, low-risk modification. If you have specific warranty concerns, we recommend discussing them directly with your supplying dealer.
What are progressive-rate lowering springs?
Unlike traditional linear springs, which maintain the same stiffness throughout compression, progressive-rate springs vary their spring rate as loads increase.
This allows:
- Softer compliance during everyday driving
- Improved body control during more dynamic driving
- Reduced body roll
- Better dynamic stability under load
- More confidence during cornering, braking and acceleration
Progressive-rate spring designs are particularly beneficial on heavier high-performance EVs such as the Audi e-tron GT.
Will lowering improve handling?
Yes. Lowering the centre of gravity helps reduce body movement and improve chassis stability during cornering, braking and rapid direction changes.
On a performance EV like the e-tron GT, a carefully engineered lowering spring can deliver:
- Sharper turn-in
- Improved steering confidence
- More composed weight transfer
- Enhanced high-speed stability
- A more planted, connected driving feel
Will lowering springs affect ride quality?
Ride quality depends heavily on spring design and suspension tuning philosophy.
PWRD Progressive-Rate Springs are engineered to maintain compliance during normal driving conditions, with additional stiffness introduced progressively during higher dynamic loads such as cornering, acceleration or braking.
The result is a more controlled and connected driving feel without the excessive harshness often associated with poorly matched lowering springs.
Will lowering improve efficiency or range?
Reducing ride height can improve aerodynamic efficiency by reducing airflow turbulence underneath the vehicle.
While any gains will vary depending on speed, road conditions and driving style, a lower ride height can marginally reduce drag at motorway speeds and support improved efficiency.
Do I need additional parts to install these springs?
No additional suspension components are required for installation.
The springs are designed as a direct replacement for the factory steel springs, using the OEM dampers and mounting system.
A professional four-wheel alignment is strongly recommended after installation to ensure optimal handling, tyre wear and vehicle stability.
What happens to wheel alignment after lowering?
Changing ride height naturally alters suspension geometry, including camber, toe and steering angles.
After installation, a professional alignment should always be carried out to restore correct settings and ensure:
- Stable handling
- Even tyre wear
- Accurate steering response
- Correct chassis balance
This applies to all lowered vehicles.
Will lowering reduce ground clearance?
Yes. Ride height reduction naturally decreases ground clearance by approximately 25mm at the front and 20mm at the rear.
Most owners should experience no issues during normal driving, although extra care may be needed around:
- Aggressive speed bumps
- Steep driveways
- Raised kerbs
- Uneven road surfaces
The selected drop is designed to maintain a usable OEM+ balance rather than an extreme ride height reduction.
