If you're planning on running the car at lowered ride-height, you may wish to add a set of Adjustable Camber Arms to the rear to enable the rear camber to be adjusted and save on inner wear on your rear tyres.

Yes - lowering will reduce clearance by approximately the amount of the chosen suspension drop.

Even cars at standard height can sometimes brush against speed bumps or steep driveways, often just contacting mudflaps or undertrays. Teslas are well-protected underneath, but lowering does increase the likelihood of minor contact. The lower your set your ride-height, the great the chances of hitting the underside.

But don't forget - with our Lowering Links the air suspension still retains full control of your ride height from lowest to highest settings, just as you did before.

Always remember though, any damage resulting from road obstacles is always the driver’s responsibility, not the vehicle or aftermarket manufacturer’s.

Thanks to Tesla's clever Air Suspension, this isn’t something that you’ll ever need to worry about.

The suspension system will always self-level, meaning that if you load the car with people and bags, the car will always maintain the same ride height as when unladen.

So, lower the car by 20mm when empty, and it will still be 20mm lower when fully laden. 

Suspension alignment (the angles at which the wheels sit, both when viewed from the front or from above) changes naturally with ride height on all cars. Lowering a Tesla increases static negative camber, and varies the steering (toe) angles.

Therefore you may wish to add a set of Adjustable Camber Arms to the rear if you plan to the run your car low.

Therefore we strongly recommend having a professional alignment carried out after installation. This allows the operator to fine-tune geometry for your priorities - either maximum grip (sport-focused) or optimal tyre life (comfort-focused).
